Underfoot Feel

The core of the midsole io made of ZoomX foam. This foam is both lightweight and energy-returning, and also provides a smooth ride from initial foot strike through to toe-off. A firmer, more durable carrier foam also surrounds the ZoomX foam core.

In addition, a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot gives a snappy, responsive feel as you push off.

High-abrasion rubber on the outsole also provides durability and traction.

Upper Fit

The supportive upper features a band at the midfoot which ensures a secure lockdown across the foot. Nike designed this shoe using data obtained from runners, and placed highly breathable mesh in key areas to optimise stretch and ventilation. An external heel clip also offers a snug and secure fit. The tongue is also plushly padded for additional comfort.
